Hedge House has been providing luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful pocket of Newlands, Sunnybrae, Cape Town for 24 years.
As of January 2023, we have installed an inverter/ battery backup system that supplies Hedge House with consistent power in the event of blackouts.
Solar panels added to the system in 2025.
We are within walking distance of Good Hope Studies, Claremont (Cavendish Square), the Newlands Cricket Stadium, Kelvin Grove, and the Sports Science Institute.
Varsity College is just a short walk away.
We are within easy reach of the Waterfront, beaches and Cape Town airport.
Schools close by are Rondebosch Boys, Bishops and Rustenburg Girls High.
Keurboom Park with Western Province Cricket, Squash (VOB) and tennis is just a stroll away.
Hedge House was established in 2001, growing from a three-bedroom home to ten bedrooms. Five of them are family rooms and five are en-suite guest rooms.
We host small conferences and special occasion celebrations.
Dinners are served on request.

Beautiful Guest House where we almost felt at home. Judy and Graham are very friendly and have conjured up a great breakfast every morning! The best B&B that we have ever stayed in! We visited for our honeymoon with our 10 month old baby. Hedge House truly is a home away from home. Graham and Judy are a dream team who made us feel so welcome and relaxed. They went the extra mile with also making sure our baby was incredibly well looked after.
