Judy England and her family run, without a doubt, one of the best B&Bs in the Cape. She and her team made our stay truly memorable by treating us, especially our three children, like family. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious and the company made us feel like we were among friends. We will be back, for sure.

Graham, Judy and the other staff are very warm and friendly. Breakfast is outstanding, rooms really nice, beds very good. Location in nice area and near a beautiful park. We recommend this place wholeheartedly!

I can't thank Judy and her family enough for our stay with them. The B&B is near the hustle and bustle of Capetown but in a quiet area. They all tried to create the most comfortable stay for us and it almost felt like home. I was traveling with my 3-year-old daughter and she loved it as well. Breakfast is amazing and the beds are comfy. We cannot wait to come back! Many thanks Judy :-)

Our stay at the Hedge House was fantastic! The B&B is run with a lot of heart and personality by Judy and Graham, who spoiled us with their attention and hospitality. The rooms are tastefully decorated and with great attention to detail - the bed and pillows were super comfortable, so we slept wonderfully every night.

A special highlight was breakfast: every morning a stylishly set table awaited us with lovingly selected tablecloths that changed daily, matching napkins and sets as well as fine silver cutlery - a real treat for all the senses!

The location is in a popular residential area just outside the center - we were able to easily get anywhere with Uber, although you should keep an eye on traffic jams.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and full of charm Hedge House.
The bedroom was wide and confy and the breakfasts had been very very nice and carefully offered every mornings.
We really felt welcomed and well advised by the owners.
They’ ve been extremely nice to be around, keeping the perfect presence and space.
We highly recommend this beautiful place and will look forward to be coming back !

We had a wonderful stay at the Hedgehouse. We felt warm and welcome right from start. We had lovely rooms and the pool was refreshing, great breakfast!

Lovely guest house in a handy, safe, location. High quality bedding and furnishing in a large 1930,s house.
Nice pool area for some late afternoon sunbathing after a day out in CT.
Breakfast is exceptional. Something for everyone. Secure parking.
The owner is delightful and helpful. Highly recommended with lots of returning guests.

What a fantastic place. Graham and Judy are wonderful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. I had dinner one evening too, I ate with the family and as a solo traveller this was lovely. The large room was immaculate with a comfy bed and loads of extras. Biscuits, fruit, milk, water, tea, coffee, plus a balcony. Large choice for breakfast, a terrace and swimming pool in a safe, leafy suburb. They carried my bags, offered advice, and I was able to stay until my afternoon flight. If I could give 11 out of 10 I would!

Best accommodation & people!

Have been staying at Hedge House for over five times. Every year when we come, we immediately feel like home.
The guesthouse is very safe, clean, well maintained and elegant. The people (and furry friends) we meet here, especially Judy the owner, is amazing - warm, attentive and professional. The hospitality and assistance we received make us staying without considering another other options. The food, especially breakfast, is delicious and freshly prepared.
South Africa has undergone difficult times in the past years, like draught and power shortage. It caused everyone inconveniences but Hedge House still managed to offer us a comfortable and safe stay which was greatly appreciated.
We sincerely hope Hedge House and the team will continue do well, and look forward to revisiting them in soon future!
